Yesterday, I said that I wasn't especially happy with the first 'little planet' I put up. I'm much happier with this one :-)

And again, it was constructed using the instructions on daily dose of imagery.

Update: just a quick note to let you know that I won't be posting anything new today (15.10.07). I'll get something up tomorrow.

They are both great, but I agree, this one is top notch.

You were right Dave, this one is far better I feel. Not that yesterday's was bad by any means, but you're right to prefer this one!

You're getting the hang of this ;) This is spot on with the tower dead centre - very Blackpool. Can't wait to see th'illuminations version!

I have checked in for a couple a days and when I saw this picture, I actually said outloud "Oh my gosh, what is it?" Very awesome. :)

Both of these are incredible! I'll have to give them a try sometime. I'm not sure why but I think i prefer yesterdays one. Theres something about the distortion of the pier that really makes it. I love the positioning of the tower in this one though, it's perfect!

You know yesterday I thought to myself "I wonder what it would look like with the tower more prominent? . . . "

Now I know ! - makes me think of George Formby, His Ukelele (Banjo) singing "With my little stick of Blackpool Rock"

The huge blue spaces makes it for me. The color blue is so unreal and it just lefts this rather odd image feel good.

Hi Dave, I could not believe my eye when I opened this image, you must be picking up my magnetic waves again or vica versa! I was just about to post one of these creations but having seen this and yesterdays effort I don't think I will bother, these are quite superb. I shall make a note to myself..... must do better!

comment by Rv at 12:55 AM (GMT) on 26 October, 2007

This would make an unbelievable poster.

comment by Saito at 03:25 AM (GMT) on 26 October, 2007

This pictures is amazing! I agree that it's more eye catching than the first one, probably because of the amazing cloud stripe and the bold red tower. This is amazing. I could see it used in an advertisement or maybe a CD cover. Or just fantastic art on a wall.

comment by Mohamadreza at 05:34 AM (GMT) on 26 October, 2007

Nice shot, well done,

comment by csj at 01:45 PM (GMT) on 26 October, 2007

Amazing, I must give it a go.... altho I dont have a huge tower to include. I need to find another equally as large upright object...... ho hum.
