While we spent most of our time during the Venice Carnival Photo Tour photographing the people and costumes we also went on a couple of trips. One of these was to Murano, a series of islands linked by bridges in the Venetian lagoon, famous for its glassmaking.

Specifically, we went to the Nason Moretti factory and spent an hour photographing in their showroom (I have two shots to post from this set) and another hour photographing in the factory itself.

As for this image: it was one of about five similar shots I took during the hour but this was the only one where the guy on the right entered the shot. In practical terms he's irrelevant – but I did think that he added something interesting to the composition.

As always, let me know what you think.
