This one was fun to shoot :-)

Update: if you're reading this then your looking at the new version of chromasia. Well, to be honest, it's exactly the same version ... just on a new server. Hopefully, I can now forget about HTML code, firewalls, FTP transfers, MySQL dumps and everything else that goes along with a server migration, and get back to some photography :-)

Jane: it's a slightly transformed version of one of the ones I shot yesterday.

Oustanding! What really makes this photo stand out for me is that when I first saw it, I liked it for the angle and the lines, but the more I look at it the more interesting details I notice.

And I can see that you had fun shooting this one :)

Hi David,
What, if any, additional lighting did you use please?
Sara.

comment by Mike at 03:57 PM (GMT) on 22 August, 2008

Very creative. This reminds me of growing up and watching Star Trek. The fisheye really helps with that ship type feel.

comment by Jens Kellerman at 04:27 PM (GMT) on 22 August, 2008

Hi Dave!

Awesome shot! I'm really just curious if you ever tried the Canon 14mm F2,8? Are there any reason to spend that much money or will the one you use work "just as well"?

Been following your blog for 4 years now and I'm amazed with almost every shot you share with us.

Thanks and take care! /Jens

I've always been a huge fan of your architectural work, and this one does not disappoint. Love the fish-eye effect and as always your post-processing is second to none.

Very good use of the fish eye. Shooting very small spaces can be tricky, but rewarding.

Nice use of the fish-eye! It must have been acrobatic too...
