I was really pleased yesterday to get a noteworthy for my entry for the Photo Friday 'macro' challenge. Thanks to everyone who voted for my shot :-)

As for this one: it was taken about six weeks ago and at the time I didn't really like it, though I can't remember why. I was going through my archives yesterday, and most of the stuff is definitely not worth putting up, but this one seemed ok. Besides which, I decided to take a couple of days off from 'trying' to take some decent shots. For some reason, over the last week or so, it seems the harder I try the crappier my shots get. So I thought I'd take some time to work with some of my older shots. I only found two that I liked though, so I'll be back to putting up new stuff by the end of the week.
