In one way or another I've been involved with Higher Education for 21 years – as an undergraduate student, as an administrator, as a research student, and as a lecturer – but today was my last day, at least in terms of a full-time commitment. For the next 12 weeks or so I'll still be working in a part-time capacity but other than that I guess I now need to get used to calling myself a professional photographer – which is both scary and exhilarating.

And I guess I better get my act together and shoot some new material as this one was taken well over a year ago ;-)
