As we head towards spring, one of my regrets is that I don't seem to have managed to get a great deal of shots of the winter landscape that I'm happy with, and this one is no exception. Maybe it's just that I don't like the winter light – and that I'm trying to make these winter beach scenes something that they're not – or maybe it's something else, I don't know. Anyway, all that aside, I'm putting this one up as I do like the warmth of the evening light on the ironwork in the foreground, and I'm happy with the composition, it's just that there feels to be something missing.
