I went out for a couple of hours with John this afternoon and came back with some of the worst photographs I've taken in months. Mind you, the light was awful, and I didn't feel particularly inspired today. Anyway, I did get this shot but have to confess that the decision to blow out the sky was entirely an afterthought. But I guess that's all part of digital photography; i.e. while I would like to think that I always know how I want my shots to look as I take them, it isn't always the case.
Anyway, let me know what you think.
Oh, and I've set the stylesheet to the black theme for this shot as it really doesn't look good against a white background.
