When I looked at this shot yesterday I decided that I quite liked it, but today I'm not so sure – let me know what you think. Oh, and in case it isn't obvious: it's one of those laser-etched glass things. Well, actually it's two of them, but you can only see the detail in the one on the left.
On a side note: this shot is a good reminder that you should make sure you're intuitively familiar with all the relevant settings on your camera. In this case you'll note that the ISO is set to 800 and the shutter speed is 1/800; i.e. I forgot to check and change it before taking this shot which could obviously have been shot at ISO 100 without any difficulty. At this resolution the effect isn't noticeable (not least because this shot was run through Noise Ninja but there is some loss of detail as a result.
