Despite the fact that I've only been away for a couple of days (and only missed putting up one image; i.e. yesterday's) for some reason it feels much longer. And I wish I could say that I managed to take hundreds of great shots on my travels, but it didn't quite work out like that. I did find a couple of hours in and amongst everything else I was doing but I didn't feel particularly inspired, and don't think I've taken anything too great.
That said, I do like this one. It's taken on the pier at Southend-on-Sea which, at around one mile in length, is the longest pier in Britain. This was taken fairly near to the shore and while the lighting wasn't all that great I do think it's moderately striking.
Oh, and I mentioned before I went away that we would be moving on the 5th of this month but, yet again, that date didn't work out so it now seems as though it will be the 16th. Hopefully that means that things might not be quite so hectic and I'll be able to find/take enough shots to avoid missing any more days.
And finally, thanks for all your comments over the last couple of days, I'll try and catch up with them all over the weekend.
