This is a portrait of Emy Danciu Vivan, one of two models we hired during our recent Venice Carnival Photo Tour, and I wanted to try something a bit different with this one. The temptation was to produce a much more natural image - she's a beautiful woman, wearing a fabulous costume - but I decided to go for something a bit more edgy: a stern expression, desaturated colours, and so on.

Compositionally speaking: as you can see, I fell into a rather obvious trap ;)
