I had planned to get out today and shoot some new material, but by the time I'd finished everything else I needed to do, it didn't happen. So here's one more from my recent(ish) trip to Germany.

And in case you're not sure what you're looking at: this is a small fork-lift truck that's used to move crates between the vines for the harvested grapes.

The driver in the wing mirror is a nice touch.

fallait aller le chercher ce reflet dans le miroir!

Nice colours, and the mirror definitely also does it for me!

The tones are superb and the composition is excellent. The mirrors make this image richer.

nice composition and colors! the 70-200 rocks!!

That's an awfully clean mirror. The symmetry in the truck vines make this one perfect for centered composition.

This is a profoundly great photograph.

Very nice. I like the reflection of the man in the mirror

I Love this one! And for me as for the others it's the mirror that does it. It feels like getting a sneakpeak at something that you shouldn't be allowed or able to look at.

Reflecting on this David ... I'm surprised that no one has commented on how well lubricated the chain/belt is on the lifting mechanism. ;-) richard

Nice depth of field and strong colours

In my humble opinion, this is the best shot you've posted in ages. I haven't much cared for many of your recent posts, but this one I really like. Great color, excellent composition.

Very nice composition. I have to ask though, was the mirror image cut and pasted in? The grate doesn't seem to be reflected behind the driver.

This is such a great shot. i love the composition and the colours and of course the cleverness of capturing this hard working man's face in the mirror. It would also be a good close up shot of the man as well

Thanks everyone. And just to clarify, this is a straight shot; i.e. I didn't paste the face into the mirror.

Very good. Love the reflection.

Love the fact you got a perfect reflection in the wing-mirror. The vibrancy is excellent as well.

Clever one! :) The colors are lovely too.

This is my favorite of the vineyard shots so far.
